Buying this is a complete no brainer. This towel works very similar to the other pack towels you can buy at twice the price. And I mean twice the regular price not the outlet price!

I bought this small towel for my backpack kitchen and several of the large bathing towels because the price was so good. They do what they are supposed to do, dry things quickly and completely by absorbing the water and then dry quickly themselves after you wring them out and hang them up.

They are machine washable and actually quite soft. There is nothing unpleasant about using them on your skin.

In comparison with some of the other camp towels these towels are actually quite lightweight which is obviously a plus for backpacking. Incidently they fold up really small as well.

I gave this product four stars because there must be slightly better towels out there but I bet they will cost a lot more and this is a great bargain.

I bought a prior version a few years ago in light yellow color. I kept it in the car just in case but did not get much use from it.

Fortunately I started backpacking/base camping this year and found that this little towel very handy.

I use it to dry my face, hands, and any wet bottles/containers/pots. It hangs nicely outside my backpack. I haven't used it for dry bath or hair washing. I like it so much that I have to get the green one. The color is much better to hide dirt and more attractive than the pale yellow.

I'll use the new one for personal hygene and the old one for camp kitchen.

We bought a bunch of these for camping and they really do work well. The large size is just big enough for a shower (if you have short hair), the smaller ones are good for a variety of tasks like washing dishes.

The only problem we had was that the stitching on the edges came lose on at least one side on at least 75% of them towels within a use or two (a couple were starting before we even used them). I would have given them 5-stars otherwise, especially at the outlet price.

Instead of returning (given that new ones would likely do the same), we just used a sewing machine to go around the edges and we haven't had a problem since. We ordered these last summer, so it is possible the new ones don't have this problem.

This has been a handy towel, good for many purposes. For 99 cents you can get a 6-pack of terry towels from the dollar store. This towel is different. It's texture is a rich microfiber, making it very absorbent. You can wring it out by hand and keep using it if necessary. Good towel at a reasonable price! I've used several for dishes on the boat, washcloth on the trail, etc.
