Comments about SKS X-Blade 29'' Rear Fender:
After trying a variety of different fenders, the SKS products seem to work the best. The plastic is more flexible than most, and after many spectacular crashes, I haven't broken one yet (broken lots of other stuff though). I used a 26" version of this fender on my full-suspension 29er, before the 29" version was available, and it still provided pretty good coverage.
The only downside, as usual, is the attachment mechanisms on these, and most, fenders. The orange fabric will stretch out over time, and the set screws will tend to work themselves loose.
My fix: wrap some rubber tape or a strip of old inner-tube around the seatpost before applying the clamp, to keep the fender from moving around. A little bit of rubber cement on the set screws helps keep them securely in place.
Ride on!

Comments about SKS X-Blade 29'' Rear Fender:
Bought this after having a cheaper fender break on me. This one is great and keeps me pretty dry on my way to work on either my commuter bike or full suspension. The rubber in the orange strap works great at keeping the fender from moving side to side on rides. I did have one of the screws wiggle loss on the side but i tightened it up and all is well again. Would highly recommend over a cheaper similar product.
