Comments about CamelBak Podium ChillJacket Bottle - 21 oz.:
I picked up the Chill Jacket bottle last weekend during a warm stretch in Colorado. It worked great! I had it and a "regular" bottle on Saturday's ride (70+ degrees). At the end of a two hour ride the water in the non-insulated bottle was warm (and tasted bad). But the Chill Jacket bottle kept the water really cold. I also really liked how squezable the Chill Jacket bottle is. Its easier to squeze than most of my non-insulated bottles. The valve on the Chill Jacket is cool. No biting and pulling to open the valve which I really liked. Last, it had absolutely no plastic smell or taste. I hate that smell you can get from some water bottles. Long story short, this is going to be my new bike bottle.

This water bottle is awesome. Lightweight, great price, an improvement over the already fantastic regular podium bottle. All the benefits of the original, with better insulation.
I mean, c'mon. It even looks cool.

After Riding for 2+ hours in 100+ degree weather the contents do heat up. It is still the best cycling bottle that I know of on the market.

I love the bite valve, which I was not anticipating. The valve makes for faster drinking. My big problem is the main bottle body doesn't have enough contour and I have trouble pulling it out of the water bottle cage. I'm riding in the 30s degrees with long gloves which slip off the bottle. I'll try to trade the bottle for a non-insulated camelback with the bite valve.

Great water bottle; easy to drink from, and if you throw some ice in, it will keep it cool for at least a couple hours (which is pretty good for riding a bicycle in vegas). The jet valve is great to use. I end up drinking more water from this bottle than any other vessel/bottle because it is so easy. No BPA, so that's a good thing. The only minor complaint is when using it off the bicycle, such as in a bag, the jet valve has no cover. So, it can get dirty. All in all, it is a nearly perfect bottle, and I am very, very happy with it.

I ride my bicycle everyday for work, shopping, and work. During the 100+ days in the summer, I need my water. Cold, warm, hot, who cares... What's great about this bottle is the valve! While you're riding, twist it and leave it open, it's still sealed tight until you take a drink. It's also very easy to squeeze unlike most of the bottles out there. I don't like using a camelback on mediun to short distance rides, so these bottles are great.

Works well. Worth a few extra bucks for the extra hours of cool beverage it provides. But...don't drop it! After a mild fumble from a short distance at low speed it was done for. Liquid now comes out of half-dozen slits instead of out of top. One little drop and now it's useless.
