The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Saris T-Bones 2-Bike Hitch Rack:
I was looking for a bike rack I could use with my hardtop convertible. Trunk mounts pulled on the trunk lid and roof rack was out of the question. A trailer hitch was the best option. After looking at several types and brands I chose the Saris. It is easy to put together and use. There are three locks on the unit: one lock at the hitch, one on the post where the rack attaches to the hitch post, and an attached lock for the bike.
Putting the bike on the rack is easy and the arms slide together to fit the narrow frame of my bike. There was a little movement side to side but after I put the rack on the hitch and drove around for a bit, I re-tightened the bolt and the movement became almost not existant.
Another added bonus for me is the rack has great style and doesn't take away from the look of my car. I was a little concerned that a trailer hitch on a convertible would look ridiculous...but it looks great.

Comments about Saris T-Bones 2-Bike Hitch Rack:
I am a Mom who has to carpool kids around and I use the trunk of my SUV all the time. In the past I had a really heavy awkward rack that required 2 people to put on and off. This Saris rack is so easy to take on and off and small to store in my already packed garage, I just love it. It also does not stick out from the back of the car, making parking a breeze. I highly recommend it !

Comments about Saris T-Bones 2-Bike Hitch Rack:
I have used this item for about four months as a hitch rack for many local trips, and in the garage as a workstand. IMHO, it is very well designed and constructed and does it's job well. It is easy to install, load, unload, remove, and store; it can be locked to the vehicle, and bikes can be locked to it with built-in gear and one key. Pleasant surprise to find it so easy to put away when not needed that day. And, it really does readily convert to a workstand that works well for bike maintenance. (It would store bikes fine, too; I just have a different set-up for that.) It carries two bikes well on the highway, in town, or on dirt roads (although I have not yet put it to any severe tests). Not sure what synthetic much of it is constructed from, but it seems to be solid, durable and rust-proof, in addition to looking clean and being light.
