The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
This bag is awesome. I commute 12 miles round trip to/from work a couple times a week and barely notice the bag is on the bike. My computer screen has also scratched. It would have been nice to have known in advance to put something in to prevent this. There are a lot of nuances to the Office Bag where a better set of instructions would have made my customer experience better sooner. Slides easily onto a MTX rack.

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
This is a great bag, but unfortunately too small to fit my Dell M6500 mobile workstation. My laptop has a 17" screen but is at least 3/4" too long to fit. I recommend bringing your laptop along and fit testing it before you buy. I have to return mine and figure out another option..

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
Let me start by echoing everyone's favorable opinion of this bag, I have used it every day since I bought it, 10 pounds off my back has made riding so much more enjoyable. It's well built, fits my 15in thinkpad perfectly, even with a 9-cell battery sticking out from the back. there's a bit more space after the laptop for your odds and ends as well.
The one (big) con of the bag is that the MTX mount on my Topeak explorer rack makes rather loud noise when I ride over even the slightest uneven-ness of the road surface. the mount doesn't fit snug thus any vibration would cause the hard plastic mount pieces to hit each other and produce rather annoying thumping noise. maybe tying a bag to the rack will help. anyone else has this problem?

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
Finally, a bag that works with my Topeak MTX rack and takes the weight of a laptop off my back (when I used a backpack)! This also means that a backpack will no longer obscure my hi-vis jersey, which helps with safety. I've had this less than a week, so it's hard to tell how it'll hold up, but I own other Topeak trunk bags, and they're fine. Love the included rain cover, which is normally an extra $20 charge. Would like extra room to pack some clothes or food, but this is not what the bag was meant for, and it would greatly bulk it up, anyway.

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
Like so many others I was glad to get the weight off my back. I own several Topeak products (including 4 different trunk bags) and this is proving be one of the most often used. Unlike others I can fit a 17" MacBook Pro into the case. In fact today in addition to the MacBook also carried a 11" Macbook Air, an iPAd2, power supplies for both Macs an external hard drive and usb cables. I just wasn't able to carry the Macs in the neopryne covers.

Comments about Topeak MTX Office Bag Rack Trunk:
I wrote an earlier review, and stand by all the points made in it. One discovery I made later, however, is that, when loaded on your rack, the laptop is on the bottom and everything else in the bag (chargers, papers, etc.) are on top of the laptop. This extra weight bears down onto the screen, and pushed my screen into my keyboard, and now I have some scuffs on my screen. Adding a piece of felt cloth or something between the screen and the keyboard might help prevent this for you. I hope that in the next version of this bag, Topeak will put the laptop in the topmost layer of the bag when on the rack, rather than the bottom. Still, I find it the best solution to date for transporting a laptop on your bike.

This is a well made bag which would fit my need nicely, but it doesn't fit my computer. I have a 17" computer but it is about 1" too long.
