Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

The snaps absolutely refuse to stay snapped when it gets below about 50F. This makes them practically worthless. I even tried exchanging my first set in hopes that it was a manufacturing defect, but alas, the design itself is flawed. They're really cool, light, and easy to pack, but if they don't stay put together (which they don't), then they're useless. Really people, don't buy these until their next version, because they're practically unusable in their current condition.

Service and delivery comments:

I took the first defective set into REI and exchanged it, no receipt necessary because I used my membership card when purchasing them. When I took the second set in, I had once again lost the receipt, and the staff at REI were more than willing to give me a cash refund because the purchase was tied to my REI membership. Once again REI customer service is awesome, just the product itself was awful.

Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

All of the Fozzils gear has a direction in which it was designed to be snapped. The logo (darker side) must be on the outside of the cup, bowl etc. If you snap it the wrong way it will not hold. Don't mistake user error for faulty equipment. Fozzils would have done themselves a service by mentioning this on their packaging because it is not obvious. If you snap it the correct way it still takes a little bit of breaking in. Once you get past the first 20 uses or so there are no problems and it does not come unsnapped. Eventually the seams will break down but not until after several hundred uses. Not a bad price per use if you ask me. And the super lightweight and slim packing design is excellent.

Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

One of my favorite Fozzils feature is their waterless clean-up. Lick them clean and they are good to go, not water loss to cleaning. I have abused these for nearly two years and they continue to serve me well to this day. Fozzils dinnerware is great for all sorts of other activities beyond food consumption or preparation, i.e.; cutting board, fan, bail out a canoe, writing desk. I stepped on the bowl after snapping it together; it popped apart, I expected to find broken snaps, but it was fine no damage. The only drawback is the heat from hot food transfers to your hands instantly.

    Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

I use this for everything including food. the hole kit can be snapped together in less than 30 sec. durable, when hot it gets soft but only when you put boiling water in it, it melts at like 230 Fahrenheit witch is well below boiling point.

    Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

The snaps quit working on the second day so I had to duct tape my bowl to hold. My friend had dishes of a similar concept by Orikaso except they did not have snaps and instead folding in kind of like origami. [...]I plan on finding similar with NO SNAPS! Other than the snaps I loved how lightweight, compact and convenient they were.

    Comments about Fozzils Solo Pack:

I also found that the snaps weren't very durable. After the first outing two of the four pieces are unusable due to the snaps. And unlike Northern Californians, I know how to read the printing on each piece that says "This Side Out", so this isn't due to user error. The snaps really do quit working, and even now in 80 degree weather they still won't snap closed.
