Comments about Yakima QuickBack 3 Bike Rack:
I love it so far! Before I had a clumsy rack that damaged my car everytime I drove long distances with the rack on. So far I've driven up to 800km in a highway plus 70km in dirtroad and my trunk remained intact. I feel confident that both my bikes and my car will arrive in good conditions wherever I take them. The only downside is that it is somewhat complicated to install since it requires plenty of steps to firmly secure it to the trunk but then again that is why it works so well.
Service and delivery comments:
Excellent service. Delivered as scheduled and in good shape.

Comments about Yakima QuickBack 3 Bike Rack:
This rack is built to be rugged, so it's not light, but once its' on you can leave it and still open the trunk. Only problem I found is that when it rains the water can travel down the security cord and get into the trunk. Holds the bikes solid. Great design, and price was exceptional for the construction. It fits on my Mazda 3 sedan just fine.

Comments about Yakima QuickBack 3 Bike Rack:
This was my first bike rack purchased - previously we've just transported in the back of our vehicle. We went for top of the range but are extremely disappointed. It was not easy to install and took about 40 minutes the first time. Thought it would get easier the 2nd time with all the straps adjusted to fit but it wasn't and I couldn't even get it on as sturdy as the first time. Bikes and car both were damaged as a result of using this. Put 3 bikes on it the first time, and one bike wouldn't even fit properly as the bike arms were too think to fit. On my second attempt I tried to only transport 2 bikes, but the bikes wouldn't even stay upright properly when the car was parked so we couldn't even make our trip. Bottle opener is made of plastic and trialled that and is now worn after opening one bottle - seems like it won't open bottles for very long. Might take this back and just go back to transporting bikes in back of car even though it means taking 2 vehicles, as it seemed less work to remove the wheels and squeeze them in the car. If this is one of the best bike racks I'd hate to see how poor the others are.

Comments about Yakima QuickBack 3 Bike Rack:
The Quick Back 3 is a solid rack that went from the box to mounted on my Honda Accord in less than 5 minutes! It's curved design easily fit over my factory spoiler. It's one knob simple to adjust, the labeled straps make placement fast and easy, the strap wraps allow clean and neat tie off when mounted.
This rack flat out works... it's simple, strong, and convenient. It's expensive, but worth it in my opinion. It is also a much superior rack, in my opinion, to the Saris Bones 3 in fit, finish, function, and working design. The Yakima is not available in 6 designer colors, but it flat out works so much better.
