Comments about Orage Sofia Insulated Jacket - Women's - '08 Closeout:

I must preface this review by saying that I haven't actually used it IN the snow or while skiing yet. But I was a little worried about the color, fit, and weight when I ordered it online. HOWEVER, all those anxieties disappeared when it arrived- it looks great and feels great! The weight is perfect- cushy and warm without being bulky.
The ventilation seems great and I imagine the waterproofing is worthy.

My only additional worry (yet untested) is that it won't have *quite* enough insulation for sub-15 (F) skiing. That is, I might need a lot of layering underneath it, as someone who chills easily.

Overall though, a great looking jacket at a steal of a price! Perfect for the type of skiing I do: not enough days/year to warrant a $300 jacket, but when I do ski, I ski hard and need something good.
