Purchased this product online and picked it up in store. I was reluctant to purchae this model at first because I had heard that the 1800XT did not fit on a Honda Odyssee because the tailgate would not open fully. I purchased the larger item anyway. I adjusted the recommended honda crossbar mount locations and the rack fit fine. The rear, hi-mount, tailight does just barely touch the backend of the cargo carrier when the tailgate is fully opened, but, as long as you pay attention, this does not scratch the cargo box or the van...even when using the powerliftgate.

This cargo box had tons of room. I was able to fit 4 very large bags and 3 baby gates in this for a 10 hour trip north. I did notice about a 1-2 MPG difference in gas mileage but I did not notice any wind noise as a result of this box. The lack of noise was really surprising.

At first, I was a little hesitant in purchasing the larger Thule Atlantis 2100 for my 2010 Honda Odyssey over the 1800 model. The previous reviewer gave me hope that yes, it can fit on the vehicle. Like his review, it takes a little adjusting of the roof box and the cross bars but it will fit. After some minor adjustments, I modified it so that it's about a half an inch off the vans lift gate. After the adjustments which allowed the lift gate to open, the 2100 series box fit perfectly and the front of the box is approximately half the way over the sunroof. I'm still able to get the manufacturer recommended distance of 24" in between each cross bar. I believe I was around 25.5". I never write reviews, but I wanted people to know that the box and cross bars can be adjusted easily for whatever type vehicle you have. I read another persons review that said to go large if you get a box. The way I look at it, it wasn't that much more expensive to go with the 2100 over the 1800 and the space was a rather substantial increase. I thought it was worth it. The boxes are lightweight, and the wife had no trouble helping lift it on the vehicle. Once on the vehicle, adjustments to the roof box or the crossbars were very easy to where one person can do it. The wife had to go back in the house and take care of our two kiddos. [...] I forgot to put the cross bars on top when we picked it up, and suprisingly the roof box WILL fit inside the Odyssey if you flip one side of the seats down (left plenty of room for the car seat on the other side). I was even able to shut the rear lift gate. Enjoy, I highly recommend!

Thule won't provide replacement hinges

Watch out because the hinges can break on this product pretty easily and the company does not offer replacement hinges for purchase even though they are a basic part that screws in. I feel this is unacceptable customer service on Thule's part as I now have to replace a broken roof rack that could of easily been repaired.

This the first time I have purchased a Thule product the Atlantis XT 2100,Aero fit Bars,Rapid Traverse foot pads and 51" fairing which I would suggest for the noise reduction and I was very happy with the easy of the installation of the rack and cargo box. But It would have been nice to have some written instructions instead of just picture interpretations.I also purchased the suggested 4 pack locks worked very well and secure.

Service and delivery comments:

It was delivered when promised and was packaged very well. It had a adhesive product that covered the top of the cargo box which was good because the plastic bag had come off and was still protected.
