Comments about Panaracer RibMo Commuting Foldable Tire - 700 x 28:
I disagree with the reviewer that says these tires are prone to flats. Not true. Tubes go flat, not tires. The Ribmo tire is indeed difficult to mount due to a VERY tight Kevlar bead. They must be carefully mounted with a new, slightly inflated tube of correct size. If not, the tube will pinch under the bead and cause a flat. An old tube will be stretched and impossible to mount properly. If you are inexperienced, have the tires mounted by a professional. The upside of the tight Kevlar bead is that the Ribmo tire can be inflated easily to 120 psi. It is a smooth tread design with very low rolling resistance, light weight, long wearing thick centerline tread and super resistant to punctures. It's a great tire.

Comments about Panaracer RibMo Commuting Foldable Tire - 700 x 28:
I got these tires as a replacement for my cross tires. I was looking for something that was smoother rolling and more puncture resistant for my 15 mile commute in San Diego. I purchased these with my dividend (total price: [$]). After some blood sweat and tears I got the tires on my Mavic Askium rims. First day commute I ran over a big thorn, I broke the end off and left the tip in the tire. I was able to make it to school and back. Chalk one up for the tires. After getting home I decided to take the thorn out: tire went flat. I removed the offending tube as well as the thorn and ran my hand through the tire 3-4 times inside and out to make sure that all pieces were out. Satisfied, I put a NEW tube in and inflated it. Rode to work the next morning as I was getting ready to leave that evening, my valve blew out. OK probably not due to the tire... Put in a 3rd tube in 3 days, rode home rode to work, leaving work, flat tire. Four tubes in a week! Today, I had another flat. 5 tubes/repairs in 2 weeks, I am trying to chalk some of these up to bad luck, especially based on the other reviews here, but I am really not impressed with these. I think I will return these and get some Conti Ultra Gatorskins. Just cannot trust these tires!
