This 700 x 25 urban commuter tire from Panaracer is the newest addition to the line and features Protex puncture-resistant technology.

  • Protex Shield delivers 3 times the puncture resistance of Kevlar®-belted technologies for the same weight
  • 800D polyamide cord is nearly twice as strong as the cord used in conventional tires, and improves rigidity, pinch flat and side cut protection

    Installed these on my Canondale Bad Boy, what a great choice. They are very tough, I have a route that requires me to take a unpaved road with rocks and uneven conditions that caused me concern, but after riding this route 6 times with these tires "No Flats" Have over 1900 miles on these tires still look to be in great shape. Would buy these tires again.

    Today, for the first time since putting these tires on my Trek Portland at the end of March 2009, I had to repair a tube. That's a couple weeks shy of a year of commuting (5 days a week, 12 miles roundtrip, on city streets) without having to repair a tire! These tires still feel great and are by far the most reliable tire I've ever ridden.
