  • Hydroformed aluminum frame is paired with a carbon fork to provide weight savings, quick accelerations and efficient power transfer
  • FSA Omega Compact crankset is paired with Shimano 8-speed components for 16 gear combinations to keep you spinning comfortably no matter the grade
  • Shimano 2200 STI shifters and brake levers are comfortable and responsive in-hand
  • Tektro Dual Pivot caliper brakes ensure controlled deceleration and easy finessing of speed
  • Low-resistance Vittoria Zaffiro tires are mounted on tough double-walled Freedin RLX rims for reliable rolling performance

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Contact your nearest REI bike shop for details and an appointment for this important service.

I am an avid cyclist who loves to go fast. I was able to get this bicycle on sale and it has been a dream to own. I upgraded the rear derailleur to an Ultegra but other than that it is stock. I have ridden over 400 miles on this bicycle in only a few months. This is definitely the best bicycle that I could have gotten for this price.
