Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
I was looking for a good sunglasses mainly for cycling but also for other sporting activities (volleyball, tennis) that wouldn't make me change lens ( if you live in California that can work but for the northwest nope) while on a ride. Paying 300$ bucks is not for me. I researched and found these ones. I looked at the manufacturer website before ordering these model as I needed to pick it up from Bellingham and didn't felt like doing the trip twice. The manufacturer have more details about sizing and the different models so by measuring my face I realized that this model would fit me best and I was bang on!
Took a bit of a play with the nose bridge adjustable to make it sit right on my nose but when it did I was very happy. YES it is a narrow fit that suppose to go well with sporting activities such a volleyball that can easily pop it from your head.
I don't usually write product reviews but felt compelled doing it for this product!

This is my 2nd pair and both pairs have cracked near the vent holes

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
Bought these to replace a pair of ancient Oakleys that finally cracked after 20 years. Seemed to fit fine in the store, but found that they to ride high and interfered with my bike helmets. Also, during a long ride their narrowness becomes uncomfortable. After only two rides the frame began to crack between the lenses--probably because they're so narrow. Not like I have a large head, and they broke at an obvious stress point after very little use. Returned these for a pair of Native Hardtops which work great.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
The photochromatic feature was something that I loved even more than I thought I would, but I couldn't bear how these pinched my head. The temple/earpieces curve inward and I couldn't stop paying attention to it. I really wanted to keep and love these, but have to find something with less pinch. The Tifosi sizing seems a bit strange, since they seem to look more at the face width than one's head. Moral of the story: try these (and lots of others) on. Can't beat the value.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
i like the photochromatic effect, beats bringing along a different set of lens for those epic all day and all night rides. also nice on days where it is cloudy/raining one minute then sunny the next. has a little glare but was expected for non polorized. transition time is great, very fast adjusting.
they are not very stylish, but performance > style.
and besides, when you are already wearing a full cycling setup(tights ect..), who cares what your glasses look like.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
Love this pair. I have two pairs of tifosi - the transition and the regular with the three different lenses. I love the transition lenses. Fit was great. Was great for long distance cycling and running during cloudy days. Protects the eyes from the wind and rain. I did not have issues with fogging. I misplaced my first pair and I am in dire need for my replacement!! The only con is that it does not darken enough in extreme brightness as the other pair does.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
Lots of positive reviews that I agree with. However, no one pointed out that the lenses are removable / replaceable. Check out the Tifosi website for a wide variety of lenses. I like yellow for the contrast on cloudy days.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
Worked perfectly for biking. I didn't even notice the actual transition from clear to darkened lenses. They were clear and comfortable. Only con is that they are not dark like regular sunglasses so they won't replace them for driving, but glad I have them as my riding gear.

Comments about Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic Sunglasses:
Just used these for a couple of mountain bike rides in conditions that varied from bright sun to heavily shaded. The photochromic lenses were a perfect solution. The relatively light tint (high light transmission) allowed great visibility of the trail in both the sun and shade. Some people might prefer a darker tint for full sun but I was quite happy with it. The lenses also did a great job of protecting my contacts (and eyes) from wind, dust and insects on the descents. No problems with fogging on sweaty climbs.
