At least once a week, I go cycling late in the day, which means it starts getting a little darker before I finish. I still want eye protection for wind, bugs, etc., and I certainly don't want to have to stop and change my lenses in mid-ride. These are the perfect solution, since they change color intensity according to the lighting conditions. To look *at* them, I couldn't say that I notice that much difference, but looking *through* them is another matter. No matter how bright or dark it is when I'm riding, I can see very clearly. I selected this particular model since it's made for smaller faces, and it's a very good fit for me. I like the style, and there is a sufficient amount of wind protection with them, so my eyes don't dry up. I haven't found them to be a problem with contact lenses, but if your eyes are extra dry or sensitive, these glasses may not offer enough wind protection.

I have been looking for sunglasses that the lens will change with the lighting I am in. I can wear these at night. I need constant eye protection from the wind, due to my left eye won't close all the way and does not tear from having a brain tumor removed. I have ordered pair after pair of sunglasses. These wrap around enough to keep the wind out and I can keep them on at night to protect my eye and they are very clear. I also am sensitive to sunlight and they are great at the pool, cycling, running, etc. I might just have to get a second pair.

Just finished an 80 mile cycle ride and on my drive home stopped at a bar to get some food. Halfway through my meal i realized that I was still wearing the glasses and hadn't noticed because of the photchromic lenses - this is a testament to how comfortable they are! Also, keep wind out of your eyes real well. I'd like it if they went a little darker as I lice in Las Vegas, but I ride a lot in the evening and they are perfect for day to night transitions. I have a narrow face and they fit me great. Overall very impressed!

I have been looking for decent impact-resistant sunglasses for a long time, but, like everyone else, I'm on a pretty tight budget. For[$] - they are an outstanding value! The optics are crystal clear, the photochromatic feature is great. The fit is snug, but comfortable - perfect for high-activity sports like tennis or basketball, though I purchased them for cycling, sailing and top-down cruising. I love the framing and wrap-around design. This is my first pair of true sport-oriented shades, and I plan to buy a back-up pair!

These go quickly from dark (in bright light) to nearly clear (in the dark). I wear them for rides that go from afternoon to after dark, and never need to take them off. They resist fogging up as well as any glasses I've used. A bit pricey, but worth it if you need glasses that can work in variable light levels.

Great fit - snug but not tight. Great optics. Bought these mainly for cycling and top-down driving (wanted impact resistance), but I wear them all the time because they are so comfortable. Buying a second pair in case these get lost!

I got these sunglasses mostly for biking and land paddling. The wrap-around style protects my eyes from the wind (and hopefully debris, should I crash), and the tint adjusts to sunlight so I don't have to take them on and off to see. I was concerned they'd be too big, but the nose piece and ear pieces are adjustable to help the fit.

These are some nice shades. They are comfortable and fit well. I dropped them on asphalt right on the lenses and there wasn't a ding at all. They've been hit with gravel as well and don't show a mark.
I was looking for sunglasses to wear while cycling that would work on any kind of day (sunny, cloudy etc). These definitely get light enough to wear when it's cloudy/dim outside. I was concerned they wouldn't get dark enough when it's really bright - the light transmission ranges from 25-75%, NOT 16-56% like it says in the specs (you can check on the tifosi site). They are good even in bright sunlight, although I have found myself squinting when riding into the sun, could use a little darker.
Overall really nice though.

After a few months of using these I noticed one of the lenses was cracking badly where it attaches to the frame. Never had that happen before and these hadn't been abused. Was happy with the glasses, but the durability is suspect - not sure I'd buy again.
