Comments about Julbo Dirt Photochromic Sunglasses:

Overall - not pleased. The white coating on the frame itself was extremely poorly applied. I read this in a previous review on another site - but the customer was not clear on usage - so - based on previous experience with Julbo I assumed it was a fluke. -No fluke. The frame's construction is typical Julbo grade (excellent), frame rigid and non-moveable. Julbo should have placed a metal strip for ear adjustment. Transition lenses should "transition" quicker. Did not feel protection adequate for the cost. Returned for another pair of Julbo Explorer Spectrons - those are extremely reliable and proven - I think Julbo is reaching on these.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt as REI is the best in the business. Customer service top-notch - even when I rec'd the pair and was upset - I logged on and chose "LIVE SUPPORT" and Regina took excellent care of me! I just love REI and it does wonders for my business [...]! REI ROCKS!

just a quick note about these Julbo DIRT glasses. I have numerous pairs, but this is the first set that will be going back. I got the white/zebra photo-chromatic (transition) and I've got to say that these are not my cup of tea. They have a "rock star" look, but the frames are bent and produces a lopsided appearance which can be seen in the mirror - thanks to the alpine white frames and see-through lenses. You can't adjust them, the yellow lenses are "ok" but not what I was looking for -take too long to transition as well. I should know better purchasing glasses online - you must try these on first before buying them. One more note - the white coating is CHEAP. It was coming off the pair as I took it out of the box.
