I tried another product that separated the spices by the shaker lid and my spices ended up mixed together. By having each seasoning with it's own lid there's no mixing while in my pack. I love this product.

Not particularly lightweight at all

Yes, they are durable, but this is because they are made of a quite heavy plastic. They're so heavy, in fact, that I've been considering leaving them behind in my efforts to lower my pack weight on a multi-country South American backpacking trip. There are cheaper and lighter ways to transport your spices. Though they do work quite well if weight is not a factor!

Perfect for a small RV

I've been using these for several years now and they're good as new. They're rock solid and virtually indestructible. The seal is good so the spices have never clumped (not even the salt!). The inner sifter is easy to remove for quick refills. The spice labels that come with these containers have long since disappeared but it's no prob because you can see what's inside. The one problem I have: Sometimes when I twist off the cap I get a capful of spice all over the place. Not pleasant, especially when you forget and twist the cap off over a plate of food (it's happened!). There must be a little extra space between the inner sifter and the outer cap. Bottom line: I love it, but some caution is needed. I would buy again.

Nice design, solid construction, love it

I saw this product and replaced my assorted Nalgene bottles I was previously using. This little kit is MUCH better. The hourglass design of the bottles fits in the elastic loops of my "backpacker's kitchen" much better than the Nalgene bottles. Comes with a rubber connector that can be used on the Nalgene bottles that were removed too! Nice little surprise find there. I highly recommend this product.

Handy and made well

The containers are made well. The shaker tops fit well and the holes are sized just right, but the stickers indicating what herb/spice is in the container don't stick well, definitely not a huge deal. Rock solid piece of kit other than that.

Goldilocks set - not too much, not too little.

Bought two sets and have plenty variety for all my needs. I don't find the need to carry mass quanities of spices, preferring to top off with a fresh supply from my home spices so this works great. I removed the black rings for better ease of use. I put the lables on the tops rather than on the sides and don't have any issues with them coming off. Knocked them by one star because I feel the rings are cumbersome and useless - they make it more difficult to use.

Bring your camp cook rep to the next level with this obvious poke in the eye to hot dog roasting newbies. Show them you know your stuff. Oh, and you better know your stuff, cause the stickers they provide to show you which spice you picked come off the second you get this into your pack - you got this

A little flavor enhancer is a must

This product performs well out on the trails. Keeping all of your cooking spices in one place. Deciding what you would like on the trails is the toughest part of bring this item. It’s packs well fitting into my cook pot. It keeps the moisture out of your dried spices. I am normally the kitchen guy and I love this product. I used to carry smaller spice containers. Which is bulky and touch to carry 4 or 5 small containers not tethered. Will be picking another one up as this gets some good use and I start to lose pieces. Hopefully it never happens, but it’s a matter of time before it dose. -Stilts

Spice Rack

We bought this to use when camping or staying in a VRBO, which doesn't always have spices available. It worked well for us; however the provided spice labels don't stay on as well as I would like. It is difficult to remove the shaker lid to fill the container. The screw top stays on well and keeps the spice(s) in the container.

Just ok

They are pretty small. Good if you're just cooking for 2, I'd say. Its a bit of a hassle to get them in and out of their rubber "rack" thing.

Indestructible

Already have the Salt/Pepper shaker, but wanted a second one, Decided instead to get the entire spice rack. Yes, some people complain it's heavy, but you can't destroy it. So, unless you're an ultra-light hiker you love it.
