The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Chariot Carriers CX 2 Jogging Kit:
We purchased the CX2 with the jogging kit and bike kit in the fall of 2011.The running tire rubs against the chassis (as stated by previous reviewer).I called Chariot directly and they ARE aware of this problem (that is ONLY with the CX2) and Chariot is replacing the arms with new LONGER arms (at no cost to buyers).Chariot customer service instructed me to contact REI customer service, who then contacted Chariot through their dealer network and ordered the new arms, shipped to my local REI store for pickup.

Comments about Chariot Carriers CX 2 Jogging Kit:
The build quality of this kit is excellent, and I love the way it matches and accents our CX2. It looks great (we're suckers for the red metallic look), and it stores very nicely with the aluminum arms on the sides of the chassis and the quick-release style wheel strapped to the trunk/back pocket. As another reviewer noted, it hangs a little low when you have it stored on the back in the folded-down position, so we leave it at home if we are planning on using the stroller kit and want to use the back storage area.
At first we found that the stroller wheel rubbed against the canvas of the cockpit a bit when in use, but we found that you just have to adjust it perfectly to avoid this - sometimes it's not seated perfectly in the arms and you have to re-secure the wheel. This wheel goes over obstacles very well (much better than your average stroller, and even better than our BOB stroller) on account of its larger size.
The tubing included with this kit is the same thin tube material that comes with your chassis, so you may want to look into replacing it with something more robust. At the very least, slime is a must to keep pumping to a minimum. We found ourselves pumping the tire up every couple of weeks or so until we replaced the original tube.
We have also jogged with the stroller kit as we like the maneuverability - sometimes it can be annoying to have to course-correct with this jogging kit (as it is fixed-wheel). But it is definitely the better option between the two if you are running all-out for stability and control or if you expect to encounter obstacles along the way. Great job, Chariot. We are big fans.

Comments about Chariot Carriers CX 2 Jogging Kit:
I'm not the runner in the family, but my husband and older daughters are (ages 13 & 16), so they love using this attachment for their runs. My little one loves being in her Chariot, not matter how we have it converted, trailer, jogger, stroller. I am more of a walker, so I prefer the stroller attachment better for my walks. The stroller wheels actually turn, and don't stick out from the stroller like the jogging wheel does. My older girls run cross country, so I use the jogging wheel to watch them run. I am all over the school grounds to watch my girls run on the course. It is perfect for just about any terrain. Pushes like a dream on grass, gravel and dirt. It smoothly goes from the curb down onto the street effortlessly, and vise versa. I have taken this on dessert trails and pine forest mountain trails, and have been so happy with the way it handles. I have even pushed it up and down some pretty steep hills that were covered in forest debris. If you are switching from trailer to jogger, that works great too. It is easy to instal and store. The wheel can be stored on the trunk with 3 straps, and hangs fine, without dragging. I do however hit the wheel with my feet, while it is stored on the trunk, while I am using the stroller wheels for walking. So for my long walks, I leave it at home if I need the trunk space. Otherwise, I have to fold the trunk in the storage position, so I don't kick the wheel. I do recommend this attachment to anyone. I would not recommend it for crowded places, like a farmer's markets or fairs, as the wheel sticks out far from the stroller. Someone could trip on it, or you could easily run into something if you are not paying attention. Like other review said, the stroller wheels are better for using in stores. I get equal use between my stroller and jogging wheels. I love them both. Like any wheels with air tubes, they do deflate easy, so keep a small bike pump and patch kit in your Chariot at all times. We also had to put Slime in the wheels.

Comments about Chariot Carriers CX 2 Jogging Kit:
The jogging wheel works well. It also can be fixed to the trunk on the rear of the CX2. The arms can be kept in the mesh in the back of the Chariot. It works well on trails. If you just need the wheel for the grocery store I would recommend getting the stroller wheels instead.
