The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
The Croozer was just the ticket for our dog who loves to go but has bad knees, now we can ride and walk for miles while she is very comfortable inside. Easy to push while walking, great stroller handle height, hooks up to the bike with ease. This was just what we were looking for and it is so well made that we will enjoy many miles and years of use.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
I have a 50-pound Samoyed and she comfortably curls up in the Croozer. But she doesn't ride in it much yet because she's 7 years old and still pulling my mountain bike (bikejoring). At present, I primarily use the Croozer at campgrounds to haul firewood (2 or 3 bundles) and bags of ice.
The trailer folds up and down easily yet feels solid. The attachment to the bike is wonderfully simple -- disc brakes are irrelevant -- and I vastly prefer it to the attachment mechanism on my Burley Nomad cargo trailer (also very nice but the attachment is tedious). The Croozer attachment is a small piece that goes on the outside of the rear axle and which the trailer easily slides onto.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
I've rolled this trailer a couple times without even riding like a crazy man. Going around sweeping corners and the load/dog shifts weight and wham! the trailers on it's side dragging. Fortunately it's of sturdy construction so the stuff/dog doesn't get damaaged but it rips up the material and causes me to ride with too much caution to have fun.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
Bought this with high hopes, but it is somewhat lacking and I returned it. It disassembles into many pieces, which get scattered all over unless you stow them carefully. Assembly is really awkward, and fiddly. The trailer itself does not fold flat, but makes a pretty thick little package which takes up quite a bit of room. The fabric cannot be detached for washing unless you remove two rows of screws and basically take the whole thing apart. The plastic curtains unzip so they have to be rolled up. Rolling them down to the level you want would be much better. There is no suspension, so pets get jolted around unless you add cushions. My dog hates it.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
This stroller never worked right. Upon assembly, the front wheel bobbed around and this slowed me down. I put air in the tires and it still did it. I added weight to the front to discourage the wheel from flipping the wrong way and it did it anyways. This made it nearly impossible to comfortable jog...... and then the tube popped in the front tire (the one you use when you want to use this as a stroller). I took the popped tire to a tire shop & they COULD NOT GET THE BOLT OUT!! Eventually after 2 shops failed attempts at taking the bolt out so I can replace the tire tube, the bolt is stripped and the only way to get the sucker off is to ruin the bolt.. and pray croozer will sell me a replacement. Why did Croozer have to put the bolt on so darn tight? Even automobile tire shops can't loosen it w/o stripping the bolt.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
I have owned several dog strollers, and this tops them all, for design, comfort and price! I have three small dogs (15-23 lbs), and they love getting in their stroller--in fact, they jump right in! Mostly use this for biking, but used it as a stroller, and brought it to a local street fair. Everyone was asking about where I got my cruiser, and thought it was fantastic!

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
PLastic wheel well for front wheel assembly cracked. Manufacturer told me I had to order part through distributor/REI. Ordered on 8/22/11. It is 11/30/11 and STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED. AND haven't even gotten any kind of update/feedback from REI, even though I requested follow up in Sept (no response from REI). Requested second follow up in Nov--REI rep told me the factory was closed and he would call me the next day. Well, it's the next day, and I did not get the promised call from REI. Had to call REI AGAIN, and as usual, I was told that "I don't know anything about this order". What a bunch of .... I will be returning this used, 3 year old stroller, and let REI deal with getting a replacement part. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED AND DISGUSTED WITH REI SERVICE.

Comments about Croozer Dog Bike Trailer / Stroller:
My wife and I don't ride anywhere without our JRT. Our average rides are 16 miles which is too far for him to run, so he rides. Our JRT loves the rides. People have seen us riding by and some have chased after us to find out more about the croozer. We have told ourselves that we should get a referral fee for telling so many people.
