Specially designed for climbers with low-volume, narrow feet, the Boreal Sol rock shoes give you the fit needed to climb everything from overhanging gym routes to classic multipitch lines.

  • High-quality split-grain leather uppers feature reinforced rip-and-stick closures that allow quick on and off and simple adjustment
  • Boreal FS-QUATTRO rubber is extremely sticky and highly abrasion resistant; rubber provides consistent performance across a range of temperatures
  • Polyurethane mesh linings and padded, mesh tongues move moisture away from your feet to ensure comfort while climbing
  • Lightly cambered lasts and asymmetric sole shapes enable excellent edging while maintaining great sensitivity
  • EVA pad placed within the heels absorbs shock
  • Go with your street shoe size if you plan to wear the Sol all day, or size it a bit smaller for shorter sessions of bouldering or sport climbing

Comments about Boreal Sol Rock Shoes:

The Sol fits a low volume "women's shaped" foot really well. The heel is more narrow than the men's version (Joker Velcro) with a lower top edge under the ankle bone. The padded tongue combined with the well placed Velcro straps and shape of the arch support gives you control of how close your toes are to the end of the toe box. If your foot is shaped like Fred Flinstone's then this is not the shoe for you. The leather is super high quality and adjusts to the little bumps and shapes of the forefoot during the first few days at the gym. The shoe is completely lined with a soft breathable mesh which helps to keep your feet dry while you climb and then dries out quickly after climbing. Size them in your street shoe size for comfort and let the sticky climbing rubber do its work of keeping you connected, confident and tenacious.
