Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Crater Lake +20 Sleeping Bag - Long - Special Buy:
This bag is well made and it is very warm in the 50 degree range although I haven't been able to test it in very cold conditions yet. The zipper at the foot makes it easy to adjust the bag temperature. I have found the negative issue with this bag is the zipper. Some times the zipper will operate smoothly and more frequently it will travel a short distance and stop suddenly as if it needs to rest. I was tempted to return it, but I enjoy challenges and I plan to keep working with this bag until I have mastered this zipper. Bottom line: I would not recommend this bag for anyone who might have to remove himself/herself quickly. It appears that this is the exact time that this zipper will refuse to work.
