Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Desert Pine +20 Sleeping Bag - Regular - Special Buy:

I just got back from the freezing weather of the desert after a winter storm.!!! I bought this since my previous one needs a refill. This thing help up amazingly on 19F YES 19F (-7C). I had some layers and was able to take out my gloves and boots while sleeping. When buying this be sure it would hold at 20F while wearing some layers but it is on the heavy side and not too compressible but good enough.

Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Desert Pine +20 Sleeping Bag - Regular - Special Buy:

I bought my wife and myself one of these bags. We haven't slept in 20 degree weather yet, but have slept in them during mid 40 degree weather with 20 mph winds. Doubt we ever camp when it is actually 20 deg's, but I am a cold sleeper and wanted to make sure I would stay warm. I stayed plenty warm! Had to sleep with the bag half way open most of the night! Woke up once and was completely out of the bag and a bit chilly, so crawled back in and was nice and toasty in just a couple minutes. The zipper has snagged on us some, but never to the point that I think the bag is not worth buying. Does come with a compression stuff sack, kind of a pain to get back in, but with synthetic bags thats what you are going to get.

Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Desert Pine +20 Sleeping Bag - Regular - Special Buy:

My son used this bag up at Antidam creek in late March on the first weekend of spring. It did not go to 20 degrees, but he said it was very warm. He said he was able to back it down small easily with the compression sack.
