I wanted an affordable yet comfortable and durable harness and thats what I got. It's great for indoor or outdoor use, the highest I have ever climbing in it is about 80-100 feet. I have competed in this harness and have had it for about two years and it has held up wonderfully! It is not the MOST comfortable harness out there, but definitely MUCH, MUCH better than the gym rental harnesses.

I was worried about the inability to double up on the straps, but as light as my daughter is and with the extra strap pulled through, it proved to work very well.

This is a great harness. It has everything you'd expect in a good adult harness, but sized down for kids. The quality of construction is excellent, as expected from a company like BD. The kids (7 & 9) have been climbing in these for a couple months now and they are by far more comfortable hangning in them than other harnesses they've worn. The range of size is great, and we've even put the 4yr old in it and although the legloops are a bit too big for her, it still holds her more comfortably in a fall than a full body harness.

This is about the third harness we have had for my son and the one he likes the best. He is six and can put it on himself, and he has never complained about comfort. I was concerned about him coming out of it around the hips but it holds him fine. Easy to adjust doesn't tangle, and looks nice.
