Cut low, these REI Trail gaiters are great for less-than-extreme conditions when you just need to keep trail debris and snow out of your boots.

  • Durable nylon uppers with ripstop-lined Cordura® nylon lowers stand up to hard use; uppers and lowers are water resistant
  • Rip-and-stick front closures allow quick, easy on/off without fumbling with zippers
  • Changing the amount of overlap on the front closures adjusts the bottom circumference to fit gaiters around different boot styles
  • Tops close with snaps; adjust and set snugness with a single hand using the bungee-style cord and cordlock
  • Laminated nylon straps and stay-put lace hooks complete a secure fit around your boots

Gaiter sizes fit U.S. boot sizes as follows:

  • Small/Medium fits men's sizes 5 - 9 and women's sizes 6.5 - 10
  • Large/X Large fits men's sizes 9 - 14 and women's sizes 10 and up

    Comments about REI Trail Gaiters - Low:

    I really like these gaiters! I use them when hiking with the dog through tall/wet and sometimes muddy conditions. They do a good job of keeping the grassburs and moisture out of my boots. The only downside is in the summer when wearing shorts they can make your ankles sweet a little. No big deal, the rest of you is sweating anyway.

      These are pretty good gaiters but the elastic drawstring is problamatic when bushwacking. What happens is that it gets caught, stretches out and ker-snap-o, you end up with a welt on your leg. Not the best design.
