Whether you're on the approach, or heading to the summit, these rugged REI Mountain gaiters are right for the day's objective.

  • Polyester/spandex construction features REI Elements® waterproof breathable laminate for excellent protection from rain, snow and dew-covered foliage
  • Lowers are lined with tough Cordura® nylon for improved durability; scuff guard film on the exterior resists abrasion
  • Stretchy rear panels flex to enhance comfort while hiking and allow for adjustability in fit
  • Rip-and-stick closures run the length of the front of the gaiters for easy on and off; tops adjust with rip-and-stick nylon straps
  • Neoprene instep straps beneath your boots and lace hooks on the front ensure a secure fit

Gaiter sizes fit U.S. boot sizes as follows:

  • Small/Medium fits men's sizes 5 - 9 and women's sizes 6.5 - 10
  • Large/X Large fits men's sizes 9 - 14 and women's sizes 10 and up

Comments about REI Mountain Gaiters:

This product served me well while I was out camping in the back woods of WV. The only negative comment I have on this product is that the boot straps on the bottom wouldn't stay in the sleeves that it was made for. It kept on coming out and getting stepped on. I would hope that REI would come up with a better system of keeping the straps out of the way.
