Comments about Planet Bike Bog Front Fender:

The concept of this is great. It installs easily and works beautifully. However, in reality the attachment point on the fender is all a cheap brittle plastic. I've been suckered into buying two of these because (as I said) the concept is great. They only last about 8-10 rides or so, then the first time I bump the fender sideways, the attachment point breaks and its useless. I've only used these on my commuter bike, so they never even went off-road - can't imagine they would survive long on trails. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Fender was easy to install and easy to remove and not too expensive. I have only used it once so far (that is why I only give it 4 stars) but it seemed very effective. Installed this fender on suspension forks with rim brakes. definitely a plus when you need to ride and the roads are wet.

I don't like the dirt-bike look but these are the only option for certain suspension MTB forks. I like that they have a easy to use mechanism that makes them easy to put on and take off the bike.

This is a very lightweight front fender that is easily installed. Also the included fork mount includes an easy to use quick release lever if you do not need to use the fender. I have used the fender on my favorite off-road trails and the fender protects me from gravel and dirt that normally is kicked up from my front tire. It definitely saves my face, legs and frame from stones and dirt.

The included mount is easy to install and stays on tight. Planet Bike includes two different sized plugs with an allen wrench to tighten the plug to handle just about any front suspension fork you have. No need for a drilled hole on the fork to install like most fenders require you to have. Claimed weight is correct according to my digital scale. Haven't tried it in the rain but I would expect it can protect you fairly well. Definitely recommend this fender for off and on-road users.
