Comments about Leki Diva Aergon Antishock Women's Trekking Poles - Pair:
I've used these poles for day hikes in Maui and Southern California. Previously had only used one pole, but my husband talked me into the two pole method. These are lightweight, not a bother to carry along at all. I walked with poles, binoculars, and camera and didn't feel burdened by too much gear (I hate that feeling!). The anti-shock really helps protect the knees on the downhill, and it's great having the upper body help on the uphill. Recently took a 12 mile fairly flat day hike, but am certain the poles helped by spreading the energy. Ladies, you want to try these poles! I hope you like them as much as I do.

Comments about Leki Diva Aergon Antishock Women's Trekking Poles - Pair:
I live in the Colorado Rockies and go hiking at least once a week or more, usually 6-10 miles at a time, sometimes on steep, rocky terrain, in winter through snow and ice, as well as sandier/milder hikes. I am in my fifties with knees that need added support. (I also sometimes travel and need to be able to have poles fit in suitcase) I've used other poles from a different (well-rated) brand that a) broke when hitting a rock at wrong angle b) didn't collapse as small c) didn't adjust as well. These are the most ideal poles I've ever used (after trying different four other poles.) Easy to adjust (can do it while walking), so lightweight it's hard to believe they can be good shock absorbers, but they are extraordinarily good at absorbing any shock to knees while going downhill, have enough give that hitting rocks isn't a problem, work well in snow and ice conditions, collapse into very short length that fits in packs or suitcases and reasonably priced. After a year, they are enduring better than any poles I've had before. I am a small woman, so not sure how they'd work for a large man, but the grips are perfect for my hands. I love these poles and highly recommend them!!!

These poles are great. Easily adjustable, very sturdy, lightweight and excellent grip. This particular series is the lightest weight offered.
