The Marin Hidden Canyon 20 in. girl's bike is built to be tough and stable, and features many of the same options available on adult bikes.

  • The lightweight 6061 aluminum frame is easily picked up and maneuvered by young arms, yet with its double-butted construction, it withstands the rigors of hard use
  • The Spinner Grind 2 suspension fork offers 50mm of travel, making it more than ready to bounce off bumps, roots, curbs and the like
  • The double-chainring crankset powers the 7-speed cassette in back for a total of 14 gear combinations to get over the hills and through the woods
  • SRAM MRX shifters are easily managed by small hands and snap quickly through the gears
  • Linear-pull brakes provide controlled deceleration
  • Durable dirt/street tires provide a stable ride at slow speeds and are just as suited for riding country trails as they are an asphalt path to school

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
