Comments about CamelBak Fourteener Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
I'm finally satisfied with my backpack! It has comfortable straps, a nice front stuff sack (many pack don't), easy accessible back pockets, the bottle holders ride low enough you can reach them easy without bending your arm to far back. This pack it just won Best all around pack in Backpacker editors choice awards, and now I know why. Perfect for a day summit hike! I can get all kinds of gear in here, and the packs ventilation system is top notch, light weight, and rides nice on your back.

Comments about CamelBak Fourteener Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
I bought the Fourteener recently in November, 2009 and have since then gone about six miles RT snow shoeing around Mt. Rainier and light hiking up the Cascades. The shoulder straps were comfortable and everything adjusted into position comfortably and the pack never made my shoulders or back feel tired. Camelbak's new ventilation system helped to keep my back dry. The hydration bladder worked well, even in 20 degree temperatures and there wasn't any chemical taste in the water. I carried a spare fleece, gloves, and socks in a medium dry sack, a medicine kit, a sack lunch, and small essentials such as a Surefire Outdoorsman, phone, keys, etc. Everything found it's spot in the backpack and there was still enough room for my outer shells, in case I needed to stuff them when it got hot. The lightweight material of the Fourteener didn't soak through, despite the lack of a hidden rain cover that can be found on the H.A.W.G. NV, for example.
