Comments about MSR Skinny One Tent:
I used this in Alaska this summer, dealing with both mosquitos and a little early morning rain. Did well on both those counts. Good air flow, and I liked the screened "bay window"

Comments about MSR Skinny One Tent:
well. After a heavy rain in Savage gulf State park this Tent began to leak on me and I have only used it twice. Now it was not soaked inside my tent but non the less my gear was wet and for [$] I would Think MSR's single wall desighn would hold up.It was light weight and easy to set up but I Would not recomend this tent unless you know for sure it's not going to rain hard on you at Night. Get the Hubba tent, it's better

Comments about MSR Skinny One Tent:
ok, so it may seem that I was lying on my last review after you read this one but rest assure I was not. After spending a night at Alum gap campsite in Savage Gulf State park TN in a good hard rain my single wall skinny one MSR Tent failed to keep me dry, now I was not soaked but there was a good amount of water in the tent. if it was not MSR and I didn't spend [$] on it I would be too Sad but because it is. I have to say I am disapointed. not a good tent to have with you if it is going to rain all night. Bottom line spend the extra $50-60 and get the Hubba tent. That is what I am going to do

Comments about MSR Skinny One Tent:
well. I bought the micrzoid a few years ago and I was so impressed with the disighn and how small it packed down but even though I am a small guy(5'7") it was hard to get in and out of and was very cramped in it but it was very water tight. When I started reading about the skinnyONE I was excited to see some reviews but no one had any so I just had to go out on a limb and buy one, Boy was I glad I did. I set it up on an October evening and left it up for three days cause it got cold and rained on and off and after that I checked the inside and it was bone dry, I was soooooo impressed. Took it on a 16 mile pack trip and it did just as well and of course when I brought it home to air it out, it rained on it again so I had to leave it out again, still no leak. this tent is soo big inside and the vestibule is so amazing and one of the coolest things is the screen, amazingly water proof when you zip it closed. I just might buy another just to have it on hand, worth the money totaly
