The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
I bought this because it was very light and I was told it would work with the NeoAir pad. It is light but the straps are much too short - you can only sit straight up at 90 degrees. the original chair kits from thermarest have longer straps that allow you to adjust the back angle and are much more comfortable. the first time I used it the middle strap tore off the chair! Also the middle strap should have a snap buckle. As it is now it is a pain to try to connect the middle strap through the buckle every time, plus the strap is much too short. I plan on returning this poorly designed product ASAP. Definitely the worst product from Thermarest.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
I got this to go with my new neo air pad. Nice that I could leave the pad in the chair for sleeping/storage, but the middle strap tore out on the first trip. Will return ASAP.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
I used this for backpacking only 3 days and it tore on the 1st night.
the straps are not long enough to recline like my trekker 20 chair, which was the old model of this i think. I am going to need to un-gift my old one from my GF now.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
First time use. First day, the fabric tore away from the pole sleeves on the bottom (where the most weight is when sitting). It still worked, but then the 2nd day, the pole in the left sleeve made a hole for itself so it just pushes out of the pole stay. Other side ripped on the bottom as well. Worthless. Do not buy.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
It seems as though many of the previous negative reviews have centered around the durability of this chair. I have yet to have any problems with this chair, and frankly this chair is so great, I would buy it anew each season if I had to (though really I have only good things to say about its durability thus far). It's lightweight, and in a pinch can even act as a lounger. It almost seems silly to use anything else, if you're carrying it on your back.
Also, some of the previous comments seem outdated (with respect to buckles, and other things), and it's my impression that this chair went through some significant upgrades since a lot of the previous negative comments.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair:
I've used this chair on about 6 backpacking trips and a couple beach visits. The failure of the design comes down to the fact that the chair is just too delicate, lightweight and flimsy to hold up to any outdoor use. Its base ripped open on me this past weekend and then randomly the pole poked through the material and plunged deep in the ground. It is fantastically light though, if the manufacturer could somehow make it more robust I think they would sell much better. Like most things, you can't have everything you want, lightweight = flimsy. I am going to return this and hopefully give the Therm-a-Rest Trekker Chair Kit a try. My friends absolutely love the original Trekker Chair, I was just hoping to impress them with this lightweight compak version of their favorite camp chair....I was dead wrong.
