Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
Lightest, most comfortable of several Therm-A-Rest pads I've used in the last 20 years. Bought it to reduce weight in my pack for AT Thru-Hike in 2010, and to provide sufficient cushion for my 68 year old hips on cold rocky ground. Only problem is getting it into the stuff sack that's made for it. Therm-A-Rest Support told me to "Sit on it". The Shake down folks at Mountain Crossings showed me how to compress it and use it to line the inside of my pack, a much better solution.
Service and delivery comments:
REI service and advice, as usual was excellent.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I just finished my first weekend camping with this pad and I am most pleased. I sleep on my side and have had problems in the past with my hip digging into the ground with other pads, however I was completely comfortable on this pad. It is easy to inflate and very easy to sleep on. Overall a great product.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
This mattress works great in any situation.
it's even comfortable enough to lend out to a house guest, and weighs next to nothing. i give it a 4.5 because it doesn't self inflate as fast as i would like.
one suggestion: don't buy the thermarest stuff sack. it is really really hard to put on. my brother got the same mattress, and bought two sacks for $10 less than i paid for the one at another store, with a better easier to pack fit.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I would definitely recommend this pad over the regular Therm-a-rest ProLite, which in my opinion is way too thin for it to be worth buying over something like a RidgeRest. The ProLite Plus's pack size is pretty small - can't complain here. Personally, I thought the Neo Air and Big Agnes Air Core were too "airy" and didn't provide enough support. The ProLite Plus is the center point between all of the above mentioned and worthy of the price tag.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I purchased my first Therm-a-rest in 1980. There were two models available, long & 3/4 lengths. I still have it & it works great. After 18 years, I upgraded to the Luxury Edition model. Following my ultralight quest, I purchased a ProLite Plus last year. At 24 ounces, long version, it is as comfortable as my LE & weighs a pound less, not to mention how it folds in half & packs down to half the size. Without a doubt, the finest 4 season sleeping pad on the Market. Also superb for 3 season use.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
After it self inflates, then you inflate it more to your liking, it will form to your body for an amazing sleep no matter where you are. I've slept in the bed of a truck, and in the redwoods, waking up with the same sleep I would have gotten if I were home in my bed. Great pad.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I have the 3/4 length version but my review should still apply to any length that REI still has available.Just got back from an attempt on Mount Shasta, some of the worst weather I've ever had to experience. I was a bit apprehensive about this pad and almost brought a foam pad to supplement simply because it isn't quite as thick as other pads I've used in cold weather and this was going to be my first time actually using it. I was assured by a few people that it should be enough insulation from the ground. It definitely delivered. I'm not sure but I think we endured some of the coldest conditions I have ever experienced and was completely insulated from the ground. If you have this pad there is no need for a bulky foam pad. This one will do the job and packs up to about the same volume as a can of FOSTERS. The only issue I had was when I would wake up a bit cold and find that the pad had slipped out from underneath me. That probably had more to do with the floor of my tent being slick and the ground being uneven than the pad itself.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
After its rolled up I can fit it as well as the large therm-a-rest pillow easliy into any pillow case and the pillow case won't be even half way filled up. So thats how compact it is. it is also very light.
I prefer it to my own mattress at home because of how it forms to your body, although at times I wake up to have slidden off the top, not rolled off the sides but over the top.
I take it backpacking and it keeps you warm instead of having the cold from the ground get to you. 'It is a great pad and I highly recommend it.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I used this sleeping pad for the first time roughly a month ago. To say the least, it was easy to use, and very comfortable to sleep on. I have no complaints. It's perfect for minimalist camping trips.
The next test will be my snow camping trip this winter. I don't forsee and problems with it, but it will be nice to see how it retains warmth. The only hassle I had with it is rolling it up for storage, but I'm sure I can practice to get it stuffed right without any difficulty. I definitely recommend this sleeping pad.
I will add, the stuff sack should be included for the price.
