After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Comments about Cannondale Quick 3 Feminine Bike:

The bike was delivered for my wife as specified except for the wheelsets which were not the Cannondale C3's listed but were substituted with Jalco rims which I had not heard of and could find out little about. They don't look as good as the C3's and don't have the machined sidewalls that I expected so we shall see how they hold shape and their true. I am skeptical but will trust for now that Cannondale has, as they indicate in their website, made a substitution to improve the quality! We shall see or REI will have it back!
