Generally like Kuhl products, this shirt was on the small side to begin with though. After one cold wash and no heat drying, it now fits my wife. An XL shirt is now a Medium, what a waste of[$] By the way, it is definitely not was and wear either, wrinkled horribly.

Got a large my wife remarked must be a childs large.....I would need 6 sizes larger could not fit on...I wear a large in everything else they must use babies to size these things what a waste of time and money returning it. BTW I wear Kuhl pants most everday and have no problem with the sizes.

Ironically, I like this shirt for all the reasons everyone dislikes it. I am 5'4" with an athletic build. I am swimming in the small sizes for every other brand carried at REI. If I try on a small REI, Columbia, Prana, Ex Oficio, etc., the shirts are so big and bulky I cannot wear them. Kuhl fits smaller sizes, period. Thank you Kuhl.
I would however recommend that you consider one size larger if ordering online. A small REI is like a medium Kuhl.

Despite having previous shrinkage problems with other Kuhl products I really liked this shirt and decided to try them again. Oops!!!!! One wash and too small. The last Kuhl shirt was drycleaned in lieu of washing and the result was the same. We shouldn't have to buy bigger sizes to accomodate a product issue.

Had my shirt dry-cleaned and it shrunk a whole size. It is also very short waisted. The rei brand button front shirts fit fine but when the two are placed on hangers side by side the kuhl shirt is about 4 inches shorter that the same sized rei or Columbia brand.

I think this is a very good looking and comfy shirt that keeps cool. I haven't had the shrinking problem with my small size shirt. But I do agree that the thing will wrinkle very badly when machine dried - added this one to my catalog of shirts to send to the cleaners.
