Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
I wanted to love this pack but I didn't. The straps are very narrow and weight of my pack was on my neck rather than my shoulders. Five miles into a 40 mile ride i wanted to leave it at the side of the trail.

I actually wanted to use this for hiking. I filled it up with water and threw in a jacket, cell phone, snack and guide book just to test it out in my living room first. Horribly uncomfortable no matter how I tried to adjust the straps. Something is just "off" with the design. So glad I tried it out at home first. Will be returning it!

Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
I actually bought this hydro-pac for myself...and my boyfriend has taken it over. I've had it for about 2 years and we've beat it up and it still looks great. Even tho it's designed for a woman it fits him great...(he's 5'10"ish, 210lbs). I'm 5'2" and it fits me too..it's easily adjustable..we haven't used the waist strap so I can't comment on that. Water resevoir is very easy to refill and clean and easy to remove if you don't need it. Good flow through the hose. Had to replace the bite because my grandchildren bit a hole in it but it was a breeze to fix. We take this everywhere..biking..hiking...traveling. We even take it for our dogs (squirt the water into their mouths, no contact) cause it's always hot in Florida. It's a little heavy for me when it's full of water but he handles it just fine lol. It has enough room and pockets for snacks..portable tire pump, etc. We really don't leave the house without it. Even take it to the playground for the kids. I've ordered another model for me hoping it might not be as heavy when full. Overall, this one is tops!

Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
Let me start by saying that I never wanted a hydration pack - thought that were kind of stupid. However I received the l.u.x.e. model at a women's mountain bike workshop and ended up loving it! We had a variety of women's shapes & sizes at the workshop, and the pack was so adjustable that we were all able to acheive a comfortable fit. The resevoir was easy to fill & so easy to use on the trail - no more reaching for a water bottle. It was just the right size for a day trip - I carried a snack, light jacket, keys & wallet. I found it to be the most comfortable women's day pack I have ever used.

Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
Like another reviewer, I --really-- wanted to like this pack. I went in today to try it on, put 10lbs in weight in the pack and walked around/shopped in the store to try to see how comfortable it was. Just a few minutes in, my shoulder/collarbone were in pain. I kept the pack on though, trying to adjust the straps, etc. After 30 minutes, I still couldn't get it to be comfortable. So, I took it off and tried on a Camelbak Mule N.V. with the same 10lb weights. It felt so much better for me. I didn't feel the pain in my shoulder/collarbone anymore. I walked around for another 15+ minutes to test how comfortable the Mule was - still no pain! I practically forgot I had the pack on. Being very satisfied with the Mule N.V., I bought it. I will be trying it out tomorrow in the field (biking).

Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
This pack is made for bike entusiasts, not hikers. I am, however, a hiker and I love this pack. I spent two days doing research, one online and one in stores trying on packs with different weight loads in them. Everything in the hiking section that I tried on was either too minimalistic or too big for what I wanted. I wandered into the biking section in a last ditch effort and I found this pack. It was exactly what I had been looking for. I've had this pack for a few months and have not one single complaint, even though it is not designed for what I use it for.
I just got back from a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and the pack could not have performed any better. It held everything that I needed for my eight mile hike and then some. I filled the bladder, packed a lunch, snacks, extra layers, small gear for my camera and first aid kit, all inside the various compartments. I even strapped hiking poles to the pack on the outside. To top it all off, I was comfortable the entire time. I'm 5'10" with narrow shoulders and a long torso, and the pack fits me perfectly for long or short hikes.
The end result, go to the store and give this pack a try. I absolutely recommend it!

Comments about CamelBak L.U.X.E. Women's Hydration Pack - 100 oz.:
i've been using this pack for day hikes. not comfortable -- prob due to narrow straps suggested by others. my main complaint though is the small capacity - when bladder is full (3L), i can only squeeze in a TNF packable rain jacket, a 16oz electrolyte drink, leaving just a little bit of room for a small lunch. i wish it is just a little bigger for more snacks.
