Designed for climbing or alpine guides, the Mountain Hardwear BMG pack comfortably hauls heavy loads on day trips or multiday expeditions.

  • Dual-density foam padded shoulder straps and FitLock™ hipbelt distribute load evenly for maximum comfort; hourglass-shaped lumbar pad enhances fit
  • Stiff HDPE framesheet with an alloy shaping rod and center stay helps transfer load to the hips
  • Compression-molded back panel offers enhanced ventilation and comfort
  • For a minimalist setup, strip the pack weight to under 3 lbs. by removing the framesheet and lid and swapping the padded hipbelt for a 1.5-in. webbing hipbelt (included)
  • Top-loading main compartment features full-length side zipper for easy access to items stowed deep in the pack
  • Large zippered front pocket is built with extra durable Spectra® material to resist wear from ice axes, crampons and rocks
  • Hideaway compression straps clean up the look of the pack and cinch down loads for jostle-free carrying
  • Fully reinforced, 3-point haul system and a center daisy chain let you attach plenty of gear to the outside of the pack
  • Deep wand pockets cinch down with adjustable webbing straps
  • Externally accessible reservoir pocket accommodates on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately)
