Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
My wife and I are hardcore all-mountain riders. We need a reliable pump that can take mud and abuse on the bike until needed. This pump is the bomb! It was always an arm-numbing strain to hit 30psi, but the Lezyne still pumps easy at 45psi. Save that strength for the trail! Flex hose rocks, stows clean until needed. Screw-on hose won't break or be twitchy like clamp-on pumps, lighter and smaller too.
We used Crank Bros alloy MTB pump for years, but hard to pump, pressure switch jams or breaks, gauge inaccurate. I jumped ship to this one with a big smile.
NOTE: This is an MTB pump - there's a roadie model called the Pressure Drive. DON'T use this one for a road tire and complain about it.

Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
I have picked up the biking habit within the last month and purchased this pump to be the on-frame pump for my Marin mountain bike. For now it's the only pump I use, as I don't yet have a floor pump.
I have little experience with bike pumps. I wanted a pump that a) was going to last, b) did not have too many plastic parts or external "thingamajigs" that could get tangled, c) be small enough to store in my Camelbak, d) be compact when carried on my bike frame, and e) just plain look good.
The Lezyne alloy meets the criteria above. I have no problem spending extra $$$ to pay for quality. I would rather pay extra for a product that lasts than save a few bucks but have to replace the product in the near future. Time will tell if this pump is durable but I think it is well made enough to last. Yes, you can find a lot of pumps out there in the $15-$25 range, but in my opinion they looked cheap, would not last, or simply didn't meet the above criteria.
The Lezyne pumps efficiently. I don't go above 45 psi on my tires, but it doesn't take too many strokes to move up in 5 psi increments. It takes a little effort around 45 psi, but I would think that would be the case with any mini pump. No mini pump is a substitute for a good full size floor pump (which will be my next bike related purchase)
The only possible negative is it doesn't have a psi gauge built in. But that is a sacrifice I can live with, as a gauge would interfere with almost all of the criteria I listed above.
I guess the best thing I can say about this Lezyne mini pump....in a couple of weeks when I buy a full size floor pump I will buy one of the Lezyne floor pumps.

Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
I use 700x37 tires on my commuter, and finding a pump that works well with that size has been a challenge. High pressure pumps take too many strokes, and mtb-specific pumps require too much effort to get the requisite PSI. This one works quite well. Took approx 100 strokes to bring a 700x37c tire up to 40psi (medium length version). Small enough to fit in most jersey pockets or packs.

Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
Pump is nice and compact and moves more air than its small stature implies. I was able to quickly refill my fat 29er tire with ease on the trail much better that other pumps I've tried. This pump is machined very well and one can tell that this is not your average pump. Time will tell how reliable it is as I normally give these things 5+ years of hard service.
Only complaint is that with having to screw on the presta head if the valve core is not tight enough you can unthread that after refilling. This is not the pumps fault rather I just did not have the core tight enough after refilling with stans one time.

Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
Decided to purchase this from REI mainly due to the positive comments about it online, and the manufacturer-claimed 120psi max. inflation. I noticed that what I got was the non-ABS model unlike the one shown on the Lezyne website (maybe this is the older model). Upon getting home, I tested it right away on my road bike to get a first-hand feel on how it works in case I'll be needing it in the future. Took the air out of my tire and started using. First used the Presta-end of the hose then started pumping until the point wherein I couldn't push air into the tire anymore. Checked the pressure afterwards and to my surprise, despite the strongest effort I put in, it only registered 70psi. Reversed the hose, using a Schrader adapter and see if that would give a different result. Still the same 70psi. As I was done with this exercise, there came the unexpected result: I developed a full-blown leak in my valve stem, most likely when I used the Presta-end of the hose! It ruptured the stem lock. Now I have a real task of replacing my tube for good! Note to self--next time just use the Schrader end together with the adapter.
All in all, this is a finely crafted product with such lofty claims, but in reality falls too short. I would suggest to future owners to just use the Schrader end of the hose and get the cheap adapter. The flexible hose makes it convenient to use together with the smooth pumping motion of the barrel, but only up to a certain point. Pumping gets progressively harder and harder. Also, be careful using the base of your bare palm while you're trying to squeeze in as much air as you can. I got a blood clot-like mark on it after my work which took more than 2 weeks to go away. This is enough to get you limping home in those situations where help is miles away.

Comments about LEZYNE Alloy Drive Mini Pump:
Quite a nice compact pump for low pressure tires ( 45 psi = half the rated pressure). The description didn't mention any restrictions in the type of tire one can use it on, but it sure was "challenging" to get my road tire up to 70 psi. The maximum pressure rating for this pump is grossly inflated. Try it and see.
