Lightweight, compact and comfortable, the Arc'teryx A300a climbing harness is designed especially for mountaineering and ski touring.

Warp Strength® Technology (WST) allows the harness to be shaped and contoured to the climber's body for excellent support and comfort
WST eliminates the need for excessive padding by uniformly spreading the load across the entire harness
Core of tie-in points and belay loop feature Wear Safety Markers to visually alert you when the protective ballistic sheath is worn through
2 webbing loops sewn directly to harness are sheathed by injection-molded polyurethane gear loops
Shaped for forward racking, polyurethane gear loops are reversible and removable; loops remain flexible in extreme cold
3 self-locking 7075 T6 aluminum buckles provide an extra margin of safety by allowing adjustments while maintaining the proper double-back configuration
Adjustable leg loops let you add layers for cool-weather climbing and are droppable for quick entry/exit while wearing crampons, plastic boots or skis
Buckles can be completely separated when needed
Drop seat makes it easy to answer nature's call while remaining tied in to the rope
Exterior Schoeller® stretch fabric is lightweight and highly abrasion resistant; spacermesh on inner face is soft and breathable

Small fits waist 28.5 - 31.5 in., leg 20.5 - 22.5 in.
Medium fits waist 31 - 34.5 in., leg 22 - 24 in.
Large fits waist 34 - 38 in., leg 23.5 - 26 in.
X Large fits waist 37.5 - 42 in., leg 25 - 28 in.

Size ranges are guidelines only and will vary with the type of clothing worn during measurement. Harnesses fit differently on different individuals even when measurements are the same. Sizes are based on actual body dimensions.

Comments about Arc'Teryx A300a Alpine Harness:

This harness is extremely comfotable and very easy to put on. The belay loop took a bit of mentally getting used to because it is so thin (but amazingly strong!) I am an avid sport and trad climber, and I know this is an alpine harness, but I bought it for its comfort and durability. It's great for short sport climbs (7 draws or less) however for longer climbs or trad climbs, this harness is not appropriate. Two gear loops is not enough by far. The specs say it has a haul loop, but it doesn't. Everything else aside, it's the most comfortable harness you will find. Just use it for alpine and not sport/trad climbing.
