These socks are amazingly soft and comfortable without being excessively bulky, and help to keep my feet from feeling soggy while cycling. They do a good job of keeping my feet cushioned without overheating them, and the band doesn't over-compress my ankles. The Nuwool blend doesn't irritate my skin at all, and doesn't shed fibers inside my shoes.

They wash and dry well in machines and require no fuss! Easily my favorite cycling socks for the money.

Used these on a cross-country trip, and the only problem was the day I thought the laundry had eaten one. Two pairs of socks lasted through about 65 days. Wore out one (expensive) cycling shoe pair of soles, and another pair of shoes that didn't fit quite as well wore out the leather sock liner. These socks came through without any problems, and I'm still wearing them.

No blisters in 82 days of riding (a few days were colder, used warmer socks). Comfortable from about 50 to over 100 degrees. Dried quickly when hung on the back of the bike, and survived lots of experiences with driers; no problems with shrinkage.

Highly recommended.

The moment I slip these sock on my feet is a sensorial experience! I love them. They feel wonderful. And to make things even better, they work incredibly well - no bunching up, no slipping. They keep my feet cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold (even when they get wet from running in the mud during cyclocross). I use them for everyday walking around. I use them for running. I use them for keeping my feet warm on cold nights in bed - I don't even have to warm my feet up first!!!
I've given them as gifts to folks who still buy those nasty cotton tube socks and have never experienced how fabulous socks can be.
I love them!

Very comfortable well padded cycling sock. Good choice if your feet tend to get sore. Tends to run small, and it doesn't shrink if you line dry it. I suggest that you go by European sizes rather than American sizes when comparing shoe and sock size. For example, I have an 11.5 American size 46 European wide shoe and need the XL sock. Too bad they don't offer white in mens socks. There were multiple black sock designs in the store not shown on the website.

Best cycling sock! Wool socks were already my favorite for winter and hiking wear, and now also for cycling. The light padding is just enough to make cycling shoes comfortable and still cool in the summer. I thought the ultra-light socks didn't have enough padding to be worth while. These socks are kinda expensive but they haven't worn out yet!

These are great, tall enough to wear with hiking shoes and some boots, and while cycling. Breathable, wicking, lightweight, blister free. What more could you want from a sock. My only thought is each pair should have a cool little graphic unique to that pair...then those of us that have multiple pairs can keep them seperate..and left and right apart since my big toe stretches a definite L and R after one time wearing so they dont fit right on the other foot. Im an 11.5 i guess i should go for the XL but I usually get them at the store and they never have them there..ill have to order next time.

Wore them on a 50 degree ride for about eight miles in a light breeze. There is a definite diference in my regular cotton gym shoe socks and these more expensive socks. Kept the wind/cold out and I didn't feel my feet get moist like they are w/ cotton socks. Basically I didn't have to peel my socks off like I normally do with cotton socks and my feet were not cold.

Worth the price.

These are pricey socks...never spent so much on a pair but I heard good things.

Well, I'm a convert! I bike 140 miles/week commuting and I only wear these socks now.

They regulate temperature well and for being "wool", one might conclude they are not for hot weather--couldn't be further from the truth! These are YEAR-ROUND socks...wonderful in the winter (to 40 F) and just as great in the summer (100 F)!

I only wish I could remember WHEN I bought them so I could provide a fair review of how they wear over time. Mine are showing wear at the heel and ball right now.

I bike 28 miles per day for about 100 minutes. I'm going to guess that I've had these about 9-10 months. I don't think I have a year on them but even with the bit of wear I see, I think they'll still be fine for a couple more months.

I will keep an eye out for sales as I will need to replace them soon.

Well engineered, good materials. The 3/4 height model is better than the shorter version that gets pushed down into the heel. Doubles as a ski/hiking sock.
