I have had this little guy's predecessor in green for over a year now and never leave the house without it. Problem was that the light was a low power red LED. Problem solved with this model - nice moderately bright white LED.
This is one of the best thought-out pocket companions ever produced. I use the pen when I need to jot a note - so does the wife when she needs to write something down and the 5yr old son will instantly calm down and doodle when we are out on the town.
The scissors are surprisingly well used to cut loose threads and trim things all the time.
The little blade and file get used daily.
And the best for last - it is great to have a handy light readily available.
The only minor, personal mod I would like is a darker color, but that's just me. Good thing about the silver color is that it is easy to find laying about.
Great item, outstanding gift for a gadget person and they last a long time.
Must be a good item for me to write this much about it ;-)

I have had many little knives and this one is the best yet. The white LED light is a big improvement over the red and I like the clear see through...ness. I lost my last one so I am engraving my phone # on the new one as we speak.

This is a small key chain gimmick, which may be fine if that is all you need. But it is too expensive as such. Not a typical Victorinox tool. Beware of its size. The knife could hardly function as more than a letter opener
