Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Beltis rated4.5out of5by2.
Rated4out of5byfromHad to buy this again!I originally bought one three years ago and with a couple of moves I lost it. It is best used for travel and the outdoors. My favorite feature is the hooked attachment that easily slides out/in, making for a quick release of your pants. When you are carrying a 65L pack, have multiple layers of clothes, and have a boarding pass in hand, the last thing you want to do is put everything down to release your buckle. The only modification I would make is to see it be a little thicker. Don't get me wrong. The weight of it is super, but I would like something a little more rigid to make it easier when putting on.

Rated5out of5byfromIt absolutely does workI was looking for a thin, simple belt to hold up my jeans while I climb. This belt does the trick perfectly! The buckle is not too bulky at all (harness fits over/around it easily). It does work. As another reviewer pointed out, slide the yellow band as close to the buckle as possible to prevent it from slipping. However, if you cinch it tight enough it, it tends to stay in place quite well even w/o the yellow band. It might also help to orient it with the opening in the buckle on top (opposite from the picture rendered) – like a fish hook. This is the way I wear it and I never experience problems.
