The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
This belt is very unique in style, but in practical terms it is useless. The belt comes undone every five minutes. The best use for this belt is in your closet. Do not expect this belt to hold your pants in place. Do not buy this belt, it is a waste of money.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
Awesome product...Not at first. It always came undone and loosened up. Well I figured out that if your push the yellow loop that holds the extra belt to your side into the "friction lock" it will add more friction and has never come undone for me. I will add a picture to show.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
Belt works fine for me now. Been on plenty of hikes and camping trips and it hasn't come undone once since I did this. The first time I put it on it did come undone. You need to have the buckle pointing up like a fish hook instead of how it is pictured.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
I bought this belt because of its flat buckle and thin design. I was looking for a belt buckle that would not jab into me when I tighten my backpack waist belt over the top of my regular pant belt. I wear a size 36" pant waist and this belt fits well. When I tighten the belt, it stays tight and doesn't slip. It's my new favorite hiking belt!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
Great casual belt--the moon dust color looks great w/ jeans. Very soft & pliable webbing, unlike the Patagonia webbed belts. Doesn't bother my skin at all or dig in when I sit.
Buckle is much easier & quicker than one you have to thread.
No problems w/ it coming undone like another reviewer. Only problem I had is my husband swiping it!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
By far my favorite belt.
I'm not entirely sure why people say this belt comes undone, after wearing it all day I don't need to tighten it once, unlike some of my other belts. It can come undone if you lift the grooved tab, which my girlfriend might sneak up from behind and do.
The belt is about 40+inches, and I'm about 30in, but I keep the excess inches on, you never know when you might need you use you belt in an emergency like tying a splint or something together.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
Not sure how others are wearing it but I do not have a problem keeping it taught or it coming undone. It is a 1.5 inch width unlike the other mtnhdwr belt which is 2 inch. So it is a slimmer profile and my waistband does tend to flip over it a bit because it does not fill up the loops all the way. Overall it is a cool belt and does what it says.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
I bought this belt a few months ago, and I have started wearing it more than all my other belts combined. It's light weight and very flexible, so I don't even notice I'm wearing it. I have never had problems with the belt slipping. I love this belt, and I'm going to buy it in a few more colors.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Alloy Nut Belt:
I'm not sure why the others are complaining of this belt loosening. I've been wearing mine daily for a few weeks with no problems whatsoever. I love that the design allows for infinite adjustment unlike traditional belts. Also I can see how it could serve double-duty on the trail or at the campsite. Best of all, it is different and at the same time it is very functional. It quickly comes off but only when you need it to. I only wish that it were a little wider to fill those belt loops more fully.
