  • Lightweight nylon fabric is durable and quick drying; fabric offers a UPF rating of 50+, providing excellent skin protection from UV damage
  • Legs zip off above knees, providing 10 in. inseam shorts for warm weather
  • Articulated knees and gusseted crotch provide ease of movement and long-striding comfort
  • Pants feature 2 hand pockets, 2 back pockets along contoured yoke and 2 bellowed cargo pockets; all pockets have zippers for added security
  • Relaxed fit design has a flat front waistband that sits at the belly button; waistband features elastic at sides and belt loops
  • 12 in. zippered cuffs slide easily over shoes or boots; snap-adjustable cuff tabs help keep trail grit out of boots

Comments about REI Sahara Convertible Pants - Women's Tall:

The previous version of this once-outstanding garmet came with a belt and a waist that fit correctly for the given size. The new "improved" waistband, now with elastic inserts and no belt, is so oversized that my pants fall straight to the ground. I didn't feel I should have to purchase a belt separately just to keep them up, so back they go to the store. I hope the original style will be revived.
