    The REI Member Dividend

      I keep one of these attached to my out-of-the-house glasses, which means I wear it a *lot*. I'm not usually aware that I have it on except that I don't have to worry about my glasses sliding down my nose if I sweat, or falling off if I trip.

      On a competing product I tried before this one, the parts that were supposed to grip my glasses swelled up after 3 months or so, softened, and started letting go unexpectedly. I've been using this one Croakies retainer for a good six months now and their grip seems as solid as ever. Silicone rubber, the label says -- makes sense to me.

        I bought these instead of the others because it has the fastener so you can tighten the cord to the back of your head. Easy to install, durable material, and cheap! I use these when using the chainsaw, safety glasses in garage, shooting, and anything else that requires eye protection. If you buy 1, you may as well but 5 because you will use them.
