Comments about Maui Jim Kapena Polarized Sunglasses:

I currently own a pair of the Maui Jim Breakwall's (part of MJ's sport lineup) and wanted something sturdier with metal frames for driving and general everyday use. I ordered the Kapena's online from REI since I couldn't find them at any of the REI stores nearby.

The Kapena's utilize glass lenses and use MJ's polarized plus 2 technology. Optically speaking, the color, contrast and overall performance is incredible. Noticeably better than my Breakwall's which have a polycarbonate lenses with the same polarized plus 2 technology. The styling was also top notch- they look just as good in person as they do online. The bottom line is that I really wanted to keep these, but they weren't comfortable on my face. They are pretty heavy, so you really need to try these on for a few minutes before purchasing them. If they are comfortable for you will not be disappointed.
