    As for the fit, I could not roll the sleeves up because my arms are too large. This should not be the case with an XL shirt, plus the quality of the seams in the sleeves is chintzy. I use a messenger bag, and although the bag is lite and I never had this problem before, the shirt began to show little white puffs of thread coming out of the fabric and it was the white thread from the plaid fraying. The plaid turns out to be threads that lay on the surface of the material rather than being sewn in, so they can be pulled. Another strange thing is that the shirt has lots of material around the waist but it feels very narrow and confining in the upper chest area and this makes the arm pit openings feel smaller, which they are on the small side anyway. A very strange shirt. I wore it two times for a couple of hours each, and it felt less comfortable the longer I wore it. The fraying puffs showed up at the end, which was good because it told me I wasn't making it up. I'm taking it back.

      I love this shirt. I own a Rei Sahara shirt in a similar style and this one tops it for me. Its lighter material, fits me better with more length so every time I lift my arms I don't show my stomach. Its actually stylish to. I wear this beyond the trail, which is a rare for me. Highly recommend it. If it doesn't fit take it back!

      this is my first long sleeve shirt of this type and possibly my last, at least this particular one. the fit is horrible. i feel like i'm wearing some sort of tarp/hot air balloon. very baggy and just feels like it's hanging on me. size chart recommended a medium, so that's what i got. the sleeves are too short and balloon out. everywhere else is just too loose and baggy, and it's long. i'm 6'2" 165' and mediums always fit great, this one fits horribly. i would try a small, but i fear the sleeves would only come to my elbows! try something else if you're interested in this shirt.
