  • Designed and sized to fit kids from approximately 11 to 17 years old
  • Contoured, padded shoulder straps with breathable mesh and an angled hipbelt that cups hip bones provide carrying comfort
  • Hipbelt can be replaced by the REI Mars hipbelt (sold separately)
  • For growing hikers, pack has 4 load-lifter strap attachment points and a rip-and-stick harness that slides up and down on pack's frame to fit torsos of varying lengths
  • Adjustable sternum strap helps stabilize pack and dual aluminum stays distribute the weight evenly
  • Concave head pod at the top of pack gives your head freedom of movement—no more staring at the ground!
  • Durable molded-foam backpanel has channels for air circulation, increasing ventilation to keep your back cool and dry
  • Organize your gear in the top-loading main compartment, floating top zip pocket, and front essentials zip pocket

  • Externally accessible sleeping bag compartment with a zip-away internal divider handles bulky bags; quick-release straps on the bottom of pack let you strap on a sleeping pad
