Comments about The North Face Celestine Travel Dress:
I bought this dress to wear to a summer wedding and I was pleased when I tried it on. My only comment about the fit is that it is larger than I expected. Usually NF clothing is pretty true-to-size, but in this instance I think it's a little too big.
One bonus that isn't listed in the specs is a side mesh pocket with a zipper. It's big enough for a cell phone or id and cash, but not much else.
The fabric of the dress is a heavy-ish recycled polyester/organic cotton blend. The style is great, but the fabric makes the dress way more casual than fancy.
The cut in the bust of the dress is a little low for my modest self, so I'll probably layer it with a cami. That's just me, though.

Comments about The North Face Celestine Travel Dress:
The side zip pocket on the dress adds bulk right where you don't want it if you have curves. Not flattering if you have hips.

Comments about The North Face Celestine Travel Dress:
This is a great dress! Very comfortable and looks good!
I'm 5'8"/130 lbs, bigger hips and chest, normally a size 6 in dresses- the small fits great! I had initially ordered the medium, and found that it fit fairly well, but there seemed to be a lot of extra material.
The cut of the top is perfect- low enough to show some cleavage, but stays in place when I sit down or move around (no gapping- stretchy material). The shoulder straps and back are completely bra-friendly. It does need a cami underneath to make it office-work-appropriate. It's tight across the bust, while the bottom half is very flowy. The small hits me right at the knee; the medium was at least an inch or two lower.
The material is fairly wrinkle-free, seems good for travel. It's not the kind you can roll into a ball and forget about, but if you fold/roll it nicely, it seems like it would be ok. It doesn't wrinkle much in normal sitting/wearing.
nice soft lightweight material- feels like stretchy cotton.

Comments about The North Face Celestine Travel Dress:
I wore this dress almost everyday on a 6 week trip to Europe. I almost thought I should have two because I had to wash it often.
I could wear it during the day or out in the evening. Very easy to dress it up or dress it down. Very comfortable.
Can't really think of anything I don't like about it

Comments about The North Face Celestine Travel Dress:
Got this for a Mediterranean cruise vacation and wore it multiple times. Absolutely loved it the first time but the fabric shows wear quickly, just doesn't look as fresh by 3rd or 4th wash. Like the cut (a little cleavage but not out of control) and the length. I agree with another review on sizing, I usually wear size 6 dresses, went with the small and it was perfect. I loved that I could wear this all day, just change shoes/jewelry for evening.
