I purchased these as I just started running again after a long hiatus. I ordered the 3x size, and they are too big on the top around the waist, and too tight around my knees. I tried running in them a couple of times and they: 1) look terrible on me as they show every ripple on my thighs, and 2) they kept falling down on the top. I don't recommend them for heavier women.

I love these pants. They are great for running. I'm training for a marathon, and these are perfect for long runs. They help prevent chafing for me, and they fit really well. I couldn't be happier. I am excited to see how they hold up in cold weather. I certainly recommend these to anyone!

I wore these pants to run my first 5k today and they performed beautifully. They are very comfortable, flattering and allow your legs to move efficiently while running. The pocket in the back is very convenient.

However, there are some issues with fit. The pants tend to run large; I would try to size down. I ordered the 2x last year and they were a bit too loose, especially in the waist. Now I am 20lbs lighter and I definitely need a smaller size. Great pants, but they should be snugger.

I wear these for long distance walk/runs & half marathon training. I normally wear a 2X so I found them very true to size. They fit perfectly & don't fall down. I wore them for a half marathon last weekend and there was no chafing or discomfort. They also have a small zipper pocket in the back for my ID.

I usually wear a size 16 in bottoms, and I got the 1X. They fit great and are super flattering! I am 5'4", and the length was perfect. Sometimes capri pants make me look shorter, but these did not. There are no bumps or focus on thunder thighs either. I love the fabric, they have compression but are not too tight and breath very well. They stay up and in place when running, and do not lose their shape. I loved them so much that I bought a second pair. If REI offered a full length tight-fitting pant like these, I would buy them for the days when I don't want to shave my legs. These are my new go-to pants for working out!
