Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
This pad is so comfortable, I am a bit of a restless sleeper but was just fine on my back, sides, or stomach. It packs up nice and small for backpacking. I used it this weekend for the first time and really noticed how it helped insulate from the cold - except at the bottom where my feet stuck over the edge! I am 5'7" but use a long sleeping bag (72") and I was wishing for a few more inches on the pad. If this came in long I would give it 5-stars for sure! I didn't have any problems with sliding as the non-stick areas really kept me in place.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I used this ground pad on my recent trip to the BWCAW. It was very comfortable considering the very rocky ground I was to sleep on. I look forward to using this ground pad next year when I go to the BWCAW again, and backpacking. I also really love the color of my ground pad (blue). It really tops it all of.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
Soft, warm, light, and durable (so far).
I got this pad for a 10 day base camping trip, but with future backpacking trips in mind as well. I like to pack light, but sleeping comfort is not an area I'm willing to sacrifice on, and this pad suited me well. I'm usually a cold sleeper who likes extra soft beds (and I can get tension headaches if the bed is too firm), but this worked great for all ten days of the trip.
The only drawback is that I haven't yet gotten it roll as small as it came, so it doesn't quite fit in the bag.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I've had this pad for two years now and I couldn't be happier! I love that it packs up so small so I don't feel guilty about packing for comfort. I've used it mostly during 3 season camping and it is great at protecting me from the cold ground when the temperature dips to 40F at night. The silicone grippies work great to keep the pad underneath and not slide away. I used another self inflating pad in the the past that had a lot more cushion but I woke up constantly during the night from sliding off the pad. I am 5'3" and this pad is the perfect length. Great product!

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
This may or may not be a decent pad. I'll never know because I couldn't get the valve to stay closed for more than about 30 seconds at a time. The few times it did stay closed, it popped open as soon as I laid on the pad to test it. I'm returning it & sticking with Therm-a-rest, which has never given me a problem in the many years I've been backpacking. No brownie points to REI on this one.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
This sleeping pad lasted me about a month and a half of rigorous summer use until it began to fail. The non-slip surface does not grip my sleeping bag (mtn hardwear phantom 32) and the pad has about 10-15 small punctures which leads it to deflate easily. I have found myself re-inflating it 2-3 times a night.
Most of my sleeping was in a tent, but I did sleep out a couple of nights and I think that is how the pad punctured. Though, the top of the pad has a couple tiny holes as well, and I am unsure of how they got there.
Overall, this pad is comfortable and light for mild-moderate use, but I would not recommend it as gear for any excursions longer than a 1-2 weeks.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I started rock climbing and backpacking more heavily last year and was mostly borrowing gear from friends but after a sleepless, freezing night on a leaking sleeping pad in the desert- I felt this was the perfect time to get one of my own.
I thought I would get the Women's Pro Lite or Pro Lite Plus (Thermarest) but an REI guy was rather helpful in pointing out that this mat accomplished all the same things- R-Rating, Thickness, Shape, etc. and was slightly more economical. The main thing I wanted to be sure of was that it was small when packed and that it was designed for extra comfort in the hip area (where most women's weight is, and where most pads fail to prevent contact with the ground).
Okay so it's not THE smallest mat, but it's small for certain. And I am a Minimalist but when it comes to Backpacks and Sleeping Pads- weight and size are not the final factor.
I've used it in the desert, in the alpine, and in the back of my SUV. No sore spots, no leaking, perfect amount of thickness :) It hasn't learned to fully self-inflate yet (I usually give it a quick starter breath and finishing breath) but it's still learning (so far only used it 5 times).
Good stuff!

Got this on sale during the REI labor day sale.
Had been previously using some thermarest scraps borrowed from my dad, so of course this is a major upgrade!
Slept so much better (obviously). Couldn't feel the ground and I am a side sleeper so that was amazing. Packs pretty small. I had alot in my pack and after the trip, I would have easily tossed out some food to keep this in there if it was an issue haha.
Overall great fit and easy set up. Only problem was it kept slipping. We were on a slight incline, but it was a constant issue. Maybe I will re-review when I test on a super flat surface.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Women's:
This is a great sleeping pad. It folds up very small and is also lightweight, which works well for packing. It also keeps you warmer. However the grips on it that are supposed to keep you from sliding off of it, don't work very well. I would still recommend this to everyone.
