      I bought these pants on sale over winter break and have been wearing them ever since. The fit is very comfortable and looks good. I usually wear a 10 or 12 in pants and this size 12 is right on the mark. The waist band fits above the hips and the legs have a nice loose fit. I've already brought these pants climbing (indoors) and they are perfect. Very breathable, flexible, and have great belt loops for a chalk bag if you're bouldering. I've had trouble with shallow pockets before, but not with these. These are some pretty solid pants and I can't wait till summer so I can wear them without the spandex!

        I am buying a second pair for several family trips and a hiking trip in the Southwest. These shorts are comfortable, wash well, and dry quickly. The pockets aren't too bulky in the front.

        They seemed to run a little smaller than other clothes. I usually wear a 6 but had to size up to an 8 because I don't like a snug fit.

          These shorts are great. I am buying my second pair today. They do run a bit smaller than the rest of my Columbia bottoms but the fit is still nice. They also loosen up a bit after wearing. If you are looking for a looser fit I would think about sizing up.

            I wear the shorts so often that they get washed in the sink at home.After 40 + days putting them to the test this season I couldn't be more thrilled. Quick (enough) drying that they are great for a short jaunt on the river. They are great for hiking, climbing, and just putzing around town. Bonus, I don't catch flack for coming into the office after a trip looking like a bum. These shorts are great!
