        I purchased this shirt for gym workouts and hiking. I have primarily worn it to the gym for cardio and weight training sessions. I think it's true to size and offers an overall great fit. I'm 5'7" and typically wear a 18/20 - the 2x seems perfect. Not too tight and not too baggy. I loved that the neck was cut high enough to assure no accidental cleavage exposure. The length is great because I never had to worry about showing skin when raising my arms.

        The cons that still don't affect my overall rating of the product:

        1) Like other reviewers, polyester doesn't seem to be so comfortable in humid and hot weather. But, it's great for warmer days with breeze or in a room with a fan. It dries quicker than cotton.

        2)Bra show-through. I purchased the Hopi Blue and you could see sports bra lines. For some, this could be an issue, but could be resolved with selecting a darker color.

        Again, a big thanks to REI for offering extended sizes and I hope that they continue to expand their selection for active, plus size women.

          This is a very comfortable AND flattering performance tee. I bought it for camping and hiking, but I also wear it at home doing housework/yardwork because it moves so nice and wicks moisture, plus I wear it for running errands because it feels silky and the length is longer and very flattering. For larger-size active women, this is a great find. I bought a second shirt, and am thinking about buying a third. The only drawback is this type of fabric (polyester) doesn't feel good when the weather is humid - a cotton blend would feel much better. So I wouldn't recommend it for hot/humid weather.

              I took one star off because it runs big. I wear a 22/24 and got a 3x and it is big on me. That may just be REI sizing however. The length of the shirt is good because it does not show my waist. I really like that in a shirt.
