Have lost three other brands waist-clip pedometers in one month- April, 2009. But my Ormon has been holding on for 2 years now- no problem. Don't need all the bells & whistles, just the basics. One button displays previous 7 days stored steps, then returns automatically to current day. This pedometer was a gift from my daughter because of my frustration with poor quality of other products. I am really pleased with this, and I plan to order several as gifts for my health-conscience friends. (They're THAT GOOD) The only thing I wish, is that a small light would come on for about 10 seconds when you press the button to view your steps.

I used this daily and it worked great until I forgot to take it off and it went through the wash. I participate in the 10,000 step a day challenge and it was great because I forget to log at night to record my steps just before bed (tired), so only having to log in weekly made it easy. Plus it also helped me see a pattern of which days I needed to put forth more effort (steps).
